“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.” – John F. Kennedy
Opportunities to be a leader are all around us. At one point or another, you’ve probably been asked to lead. But for some, identifying as a leader can be uncomfortable. You may be unclear about what determines a good leader or lack confidence in your leadership abilities. Perhaps you’re unfamiliar with leadership jargon and feel there is someone else better suited for leading. You may even believe you’re too busy to be a leader.
But the need for strong leadership comes calling, no matter our experience level or how busy we are. When a personal or professional crisis emerges, our leadership skills take center stage. Being unprepared to lead in these moments can create serious consequences for your reputation and business.
NAPO is committed to demystifying leadership and cultivating the Leader in all of us.
NAPO understands that developing leadership skills takes time and practice, and the most effective leaders are those who are given the space to work through new concepts with their peers and experienced leaders.
The NAPO Next to Lead program meets this need by offering a supportive space for emerging and veteran leaders who want to easily build, strengthen and develop leadership skills for their personal and professional growth.
The Next to Lead program is driven by 24 months of engaging leadership content presented by respected global leaders. Each month, a new leadership concept and objective will be provided to the Next to Lead community, and participants will be encouraged to reflect and engage with these concepts alongside their NAPO peers. At the conclusion of each concept, participants can share and practice how they can implement what they’ve learned into their business or personal life.
The Next to Lead program will include various forms of guided instruction, including podcasts, articles, and pre-recorded and live presentations. This rich leadership content will reside in the Next to Lead POINT community, making it easily accessible for all participants.
Topics will include…
- Inspiring Action
- Positive Intelligence
- Listening & Conversations
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Negotiation
- Decision Making
- Problem Solving
- Strategic Thinking
- Creating Culture
- Managing Up
- + so much more!
The Next to Lead program will give you the knowledge and confidence to lead through challenging situations, communicate more effectively, inspire action, and create transformative moments in your business.

This sounds like a very interesting and ambitious program. I must admit it also sounds a bit intimidating to me. I’ll do my best to participate and engage fully. Thank you for initiating this Next to Lead program.
