Dear NAPO Members,
As we begin 2021, it seems only fitting that we look to the New Year with hope for the future and better times ahead. We’ve all experienced a range of emotions and feelings, along with varying degrees of disappointment, frustration, overwhelm and loss. This year, I’m hoping that we will begin to reclaim a sense of normalcy in our lives and relationships, both personally and professionally.
Despite the many challenges that our association and profession have faced due to Covid-19, I’m extremely proud of all of us for what we’ve been able to accomplish. Our Board and HQ team have kept NAPO going during these times; however, NAPO is strong, because you, our members, are strong!
- You have found alternative ways to sustain your businesses by offering new services — Virtual Organizing, Moving and Relocation, Photo Organizing, Consulting/Coaching, speaking virtually and more.
- You have been supportive of each other, by sharing advice, expertise, and wisdom; you’ve offered free webinars, offered accountability and provided referrals across the globe.
- You have continued your professional development by taking classes, earning specialist certificates, and becoming CPOs.
- You have demonstrated what the true meaning is of working from home and have dealt head-on with new challenges, relative to that.
- You have hosted and attended virtual chapter programs and shared them with each other for free or for a minimal cost.
- You have embraced the idea of a virtual conference, and it is going to be AMAZING!
I encourage you to join me in welcoming 2021 with open arms and celebrating the value of NAPO, the value of us and the value we bring to others. Together we are NAPO strong!
Cheers to 2021!
Warmest regards,
Susie Hayman
Yeah NAPO! Stay strong! Happy New Year to all and best wishes for a successful 2021!
Dear Susie, I am happy with the good news. During the pandemic I tried to update myself, take new training courses, have new experiences to serve customers with much more efficiency and excellence. I love receiving your emails, they are a form of support. Thank you! I wish 2021 to be a year of many achievements and victories for NAPO. Congratulations. Fatima Morise
That virtual conference looks prescient now, doesn’t it? So glad we could pivot to a virtual conference and keep all our members safe, while still having the community experience of a conference. Looking forward to “seeing everyone” there.
